About Me

I'm Stacey, I'm about to start as a junior in a corporate law firm, and I love to experiment with cooking different vegetarian meals.

Around three years ago I decided to make the change to being vegetarian, following an unfortunate experience with a chicken... having dinner a friend's parents' house and his step-dad, in an attempt to find the stuffing, picked the chicken up as if it was walking around and searched its "butt" looking for the stuffing. This reminded me of the fact that this was an animal we were about to eat and made me feel nauseous.
Once I stopped eating meat I experienced a number of health benefits. I had been struggling with undiagnosable "tummy problems" which slowly went away, felt generally lighter and had more energy. And not to mention the environmental benefits we are all aware of that come from cutting down on meat.

All You Can Eat

I have always found it difficult to find simple, tasty vegetarian recipes. I find vegetarian recipes are often solely based around one vegetable, just trying to be meat, or have a whole lot of random ingredients that I'd never heard of. I tend to take recipes I find online and make a whole bunch of changes to them until they resemble something that I'd like to eat.

Over the past few weeks I've been experimenting with a number of different recipes, and I thought that it could be cool to create this blog to share my ideas with others who may be facing similar problems.

The blog is designed for people who want to eat more vegetarian food, while having limited time or income. I will also indicate which recipes meet other dietary requirements.
